Cherien Dabis

Cherien Dabis is a Palestinian American filmmaker whose films have opened the Sundance Film Festival and premiered at Cannes, Venice and Berlin. They’ve won dozens of international awards, including the FIPRESCI and Humanitas Prize, and were released worldwide to critical acclaim. Dabis has written, directed and produced for television. Most recently, she directed and co-executive produced on Hulu’s Ramy. Other credits include Showtime’s groundbreaking original series The L Word, USA Network’s The Sinner and Netflix’s Ozark.
