Maya Kosa

Maya Kosa has a Polish background and was born in Geneva in 1985. She earned a degree in cinema from the HEAD – Geneva. She directed the short L’Ingénieur et la prothésiste (2010) and co-directed Aux bains de la reine (2012) together with Sergio da Costa. Their documentary Rio Corgo (2015) screened at the Berlinale in 2016. In 2019, their feature L’île aux oiseaux (2019) competed in Concorso Cineasti del presente at the Locarno Film Festival.
