Boo Junfeng

Boo Junfeng has written and directed two feature films – Sandcastle (2010) and Apprentice (2016) – along with several award-winning short films. Apprentice premiered in 2016 at Cannes Un Certain Regard. It travelled to more than 80 film festivals around the world and won numerous awards, including the Grand Prix at Fribourg International Film Festival. Sandcastle, his debut feature film, premiered at Cannes International Critics’ Week. He is presently developing his third feature film and is also the Chairperson of Singapore International Film Festival.
