Alessandro Rak

Director, illustrator and animator Alessandro Rak directed The Art of Happiness (2013), which opened the 28th International Film Critics’ Week in Venice and was awarded Best Animated Film at the European Film Awards. Cinderella the Cat (2017), his second feature film, won two David di Donatello awards and a Nastro d'Argento. Rak also created, in 2015, the opening theme of the 30th International Critics’ Week of the Venice Film Festival and, in 2016, the illustrations for Roberto Saviano's La Paranza dei Bambini. Yaya and Lennie - The Walking Liberty (2021) which premiered at the 74th edition of the Locarno Film Festival and was selected for the Annecy International Animated Film Festival 2022.
