Locarno Kids Screenings

The Locarno Kids Screenings section focuses on works aimed at children, teenagers and families, with special attention devoted to films capable of stimulating reflection on oneself and the world, and restorations with the goal of making audiences rediscover film history.

The program will be announced during the Locarno Film Festival press conference on July 5, but you can already set a few dates:

• Monday, July 31: the Prefestival, free of charge, in Piazza Grande, presented by la Mobiliare, with a film for all ages.
• August 2-12: during the Locarno76 afternoons, you’ll get to see the Locarno Kids Screenings. Free entry for those participating in at least one of the workshops. (link)
• Monday, August 7: Luc Jacquet will accept the Locarno Kids Award la Mobiliare in Piazza Grande
