The term “startle” evokes an extremely rapid psychophysiological response to a sudden and unexpected stimulus, such as a loud sound or a blinding flash of light. This short film is an oneiric depiction of the state of astonishment caused by a dive in the multi-sensory landscape of Mendrisio.
