Fourteen international filmmakers, already known also for their previous appearances at Locarno to present their films, will engage in a conversation with the selected short filmmakers of Pardi di domani, critiquing their work and exchanging ideas and points of view on directing practice.
Padrini&Madrine is a new project from the Locarno Film Festival, conceived specially for the online edition Locarno 2020 – For the Future of Films. The project’s objective is to foster emerging talents providing them with a platform to network and discuss their own output with established directors. It also gives the public an opportunity to deepen their knowledge on the work of filmmakers selected to participate the Pardi di domani section.
